Linda Chandler joined the English Department at LaGuardia in the fall of 2005. She is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of California at Berkeley and she is currently working on her dissertation "Keeping Home: Another Look at Domesticity in Antebellum America." She has presented papers at various conferences such as the American Literature Association's Annual Convention, the Society for the Study of American Women Writers Annual Conference, and the Northeast Regional Conference on Christianity and Literature, to name a few. She currently teaches ENA 099, ENG 101, and ENG102, and she looks forward to teaching a literature elective in the future. During her free time she is either reading books or losing at Monopoly to her children.
